I’m still working on this
Who am I?
Hmmm, this is rather hard to explain, considering there is way too much to who I am. I will start with the basics and work my way up slowly in hopes of not overloading your brain.
My mother gave me the name Heather, but think about how many Heather’s exist in the world. The number is high, so I often choose to go by a nickname that is less common. A few of my nicknames include neongreen, Cyanide, Geisha, Heath, and Mei-Mei. The choice of what name you use to address me is completely up to you.
1985 was blessed with my birth. According to popular belief, that makes me 23 years old. I am the youngest of my siblings and I definitely fit the “youngest sibling” stereo-type; I am rebellious and I love stirring things up.
What do I do in life?
At the moment, I am a university student, although I’ve been on a break from school for quite a while. I am a Psychology major with a minor in Philosophy in my second year.
For approximately 6 months, I was the Chinese Culture editor for BellaOnline.com. The prospect of being an editor and having hundreds of people reading my material on a daily basis was exciting, but I got burnt out quickly. Being told how often you have to write didn’t sit well with me.
I am always available for free-lance writing work. If you’d like to see a sample of my professional writing, drop me a line.
What do I do with all the spare time I have?
Faves…
Nothing but eat and sleep.
Nah, just kidding. =P
At the moment, my favorite hobby is origami. Origami is wonderful for relaxation and widdling away the hours. When you’re done, you have all kinds of nifty paper shapes that you are really proud of but will probably only display for a month before your shelf gets cluttered up and you throw them away.
Besides endless hours of paper-folding, I spend a lot of time drinking a lot of tea, and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT. Over the years, I have developed a strange love/obsession of tea. Not only does it have physical health benefits, but it is healthy for the soul as well. Tea = perfection \o/
Other than that, I blog, knit, watch loads of films, read, write, and work my lovely crossword puzzles.

What is the purpose of this blog?
This web page/blog is my first attempt at web-site development. I have done very little with HTML in the past (only a beginners course in my first year of university), so all of this is brand-spanking-new to me.
Basically the point of this blog is to get me acquainted with web-site design and blogging on my own domain.
